Joe's Birthday

I know it looks like Tommy's birthday, sign and all, but its Joe's, I promise

So, Today is Joe's birthday.  I think that we had a good time.  I made homemade cincinnati style chili (per his request) and chocolate cake (again, per his request).  There is plenty of leftover chili so he can have it on hot dogs or again on spaghetti...Collin wouldnt try the chili (even when I told him there were no beans and chocolate in the chili), but Tommy did (with lots of cheese).  Scott and Paula came over to eat, which was nice to spend time with them.  And then my family rounded out the cake and ice cream portion of the evening.  it didnt feel like a tuesday night, it felt like a weekend with all the people here.

the boys got Joe a new transformer (that Joe picked out himself) and he got lots of nice cards and gifts in the mail.

My job is still going well.  students are coming in to change their schedules so its a little hectic at times (at one time today I think I had at least half the volleyball team in my office and it was after practice so it smelled great!).  I feel supported by the staff and administration so that makes it easier.

Collin found out who is in his class for this year.  When I asked him if there is anyone in his classroom that he doesnt get along with, he said no.  So thats good I think (hope).  he told me this morning that he wished school started today.  Is that because he's excited, or is it because he wants it to be over sooner?

Joe finished up his paperwork for Cedar Point, so he is officially a screamster for the 3rd year.  he says that he only will do it for a couple of weeks, but I bet that he will want to continue through the season.
